Season 2 is the second and final season of the Amazon Prime Video original series The Wilds. All eight episodes of the second season premiered on Friday, May 6th exclusively on Prime Video.

Synopsis

In Season Two, survival hangs in the balance for the group of teenage girls stranded on a deserted island, after the explosive discovery that what's happening to them is an elaborate social experiment. This season ups the drama and keeps you guessing, with the introduction of more test subjects—another island of teenage boys—who must also fight for survival under the watchful eye of the experiment’s puppet master.

Production

On December 19, 2020, it was announced that the series was renewed for a second season. On April 27, 2021, it was announced that production started for the season. Season 2 was released on Amazon Prime Video on 6th May, 2022.

It was stated on July 28, 2022 that the show had been cancelled and that there wouldn’t be a third season thus leaving the series on a cliffhanger.
